🆘 Emergency kit: what to do if something fails mid-event

The first 5 minutes when something fails during a live event: what to do, what not to do and how to keep recording.

You're in the middle of an event, the line of guests is growing and something isn't working as it should. Breathe: Snap360 is designed so the show goes on. This is your guide to the first 5 minutes.

1. Your videos are safe

Everything you record is automatically saved to your device's Local Gallery, even without an internet connection. A network or sync failure does not delete your recordings. You can check it in this article about video syncing.

2. Switch to mobile data

WiFi at event venues often gets saturated. If you notice that something isn't loading or sharing, disconnect from WiFi and try your phone's mobile data (or a hotspot).

3. Restart the app

Close Snap360 completely and open it again. It's the fastest fix for most one-off freezes.

4. What NOT to do

  • Do not uninstall the app. Unsynced videos in the Local Gallery would be lost.

  • Do not clear the app's cache or data from the device settings, for the same reason.

5. Keep recording

Snap360's recording works without internet. Even if the QR code or the online gallery don't respond at that moment, keep recording as usual: guests will be able to receive their videos later.

When the event is over

With a good connection, go to Content Management › Offline Videos and tap Sync now to calmly upload everything pending.

And if the problem persists, write to us in this same chat mentioning that you're at a live event: we treat it as a priority so you can keep working.
