What the motion sensor is
With the motion sensor enabled, Snap360 detects when the 360 platform starts spinning and starts recording automatically — without you or your guests having to touch the phone. When it's done, the video is processed and ready like any other recording.
When to use it
Events with a high volume of guests: the rotation takes charge, you focus on the experience.
With an external camera (for example a GoPro): move the camera and recording triggers on its own — as explained in the GoPro guide.
Tips to make it run smoothly
Always do a test before the event: spin the platform and check that recording starts.
Secure the phone or camera firmly in the mount: loose vibrations can cause unwanted triggers.
If you notice it triggering on its own or not triggering at all, review the event's recording settings and try again.
