⚙️ 1. Initial Setup in the App
Open Snap360 and go to Settings > GoPro Settings.
Set the FPS (frames per second) you want.
Enable “Delete files automatically”. This deletes the video from the GoPro once it’s transferred to the phone so the camera’s memory doesn’t fill up.
🔌 2. Choose a Connection Method
First, in the Snap360 app, accept the Bluetooth permission and refresh the list to select your GoPro. Then choose how you’ll connect it:
Option A: Via USB Cable (Faster and more stable ⚡)
On your GoPro, go to the menu and enable the Wireless connections option. Tap Connect new device and select GoPro Quik App to put it into pairing mode.
Important: Don’t connect the cable before this step.
Use an adapter (Lightning or USB-C) and connect the GoPro cable to your phone.
Wait until the GoPro screen says “USB connected”.
In the app, tap USB Connection. Done!
Option B: Via Wi-Fi (Wireless 📶)
Same as with USB: On your GoPro, first go to the menu and make sure the Wireless connections option is enabled. Tap Connect new device and select GoPro Quik App.
In the app, tap Wi-Fi Connection.
Accept the Location permission (it’s required for the phone to detect the camera’s Wi-Fi).
The app will link via Bluetooth and ask you to join the GoPro’s Wi-Fi network. Tap Connect.
🎬 3. Let’s Record!
Permissions: If it’s your first time using the app, accept access to the camera, microphone and photos.
Position: Place the phone vertically, since the app records in 9:16 format.
Test: Use the motion sensor. Move the camera and it will record the video and automatically send it to the phone for processing.
⏳ Keep in mind: Processing GoPro videos may take a bit longer than usual. This is because the files have much higher quality and more FPS. The final time will depend on your phone’s power.
To turn it off or switch cameras, simply tap Disconnect in the app.
