What the motion sensor is
With the motion sensor turned on, Snap360 detects when the 360 platform starts spinning and starts recording automatically — without you or your guests having to touch the phone. When it finishes, the video is processed and ready like any other recording.
When to use it
Events with a high volume of guests: the rotation leads the way, you focus on the experience.
With an external camera (for example a GoPro): move the camera and recording triggers on its own — as explained in the GoPro guide.
Tips to get it running smoothly
Always run a test before the event: spin the platform and check that recording starts.
Secure the phone or camera firmly on the mount: loose vibrations can cause unwanted triggers.
If you notice it triggers on its own or doesn't trigger, review the event's recording settings and try again.
