📳 Motion Sensor: Record Without Touching the Phone

Turn on the Snap360 motion sensor and record 360 videos without touching the phone: hands-free in your 360 photo booth for events with big crowds.

What the motion sensor is

With the motion sensor turned on, Snap360 detects when the 360 platform starts spinning and starts recording automatically — without you or your guests having to touch the phone. When it finishes, the video is processed and ready like any other recording.

When to use it

  • Events with a high volume of guests: the rotation leads the way, you focus on the experience.

  • With an external camera (for example a GoPro): move the camera and recording triggers on its own — as explained in the GoPro guide.

Tips to get it running smoothly

  • Always run a test before the event: spin the platform and check that recording starts.

  • Secure the phone or camera firmly on the mount: loose vibrations can cause unwanted triggers.

  • If you notice it triggers on its own or doesn't trigger, review the event's recording settings and try again.

Recording won't start?

For High-Volume Events

If the motion sensor keeps recording non-stop, the Diamond plan keeps up with that pace: several devices at once and 15 GB of cloud (around 1,000 videos) so you never run out of space at your busiest events. Discover the Diamond Plan.
