What is the speed ramp?

The speed ramp is a new feature that allows users to customize the speed of a video at three key points: the beginning, the middle, and the end. This feature is perfect for those looking to create dynamic effects, speeding up or slowing down specific parts of their recordings, giving them a more professional and personalized touch.

Why use it?

  • You can speed up the beginning of your video to grab the viewer's attention from the first second.

  • You can slow down the middle to emphasize special moments, such as a spin or movement.

  • And, of course, you can speed up the end to give a sense of a quick and energetic finish.

Where to find it?

To use this new feature, follow these steps within the app:

  1. Select an existing event: Open the app and choose the event where you want to modify the video speed.

  2. Go to "Video Settings": Once inside the event, navigate to the section where you can adjust the video settings.

  3. Enable the "Custom Video Speed" option: Scroll down and find the option to activate the custom speed function.

  4. Adjust the sliders: You will see three sliders representing the three key points: "Start", "Middle", and "End". Adjust these sliders to your preferred speed at each of these moments in the video.

Practical example ✨:

Imagine you're recording a video of an event, and you want the beginning to be fast to grab attention, then a slower part for a dramatic transition, and finally speeding up the end to add an energetic touch. With this feature, you can adjust the speed to match your vision perfectly.
