🎞 Custom Time Ramping in Snap360

Create dynamic 360 videos with Snap360 speed ramps: speed up or slow down your recording at the start, middle and end for a professional finish.

What is speed ramping?

Speed ramping is a new tool that lets users customize the speed of a video at three key points: the start, the middle and the end. This feature is perfect for those looking to create dynamic effects, where specific parts of the video speed up or slow down, adding a more professional and personalized touch to their recordings.

Why use it?

  • You can make the start of your video faster to grab viewers' attention from the very first second.

  • You can slow down the middle to emphasize special moments, such as a spin or a movement.

  • And, of course, you can speed up the end to give a fast, energetic sense of closure.

Where is it?

To use this new feature, follow these steps inside the app:

  1. Select an existing event: Open the app and choose the event whose video speed you want to change.

  2. Go to "Video Settings": Once inside the event, navigate to the section where you can change the video settings.

  3. Turn on the "Custom Video Speed" option: Scroll down and you will find an option to enable the custom speed feature.

  4. Adjust the sliders: You will see three bars representing the three key points: "Start", "Middle" and "End". Adjust these bars according to the speed you prefer at each of those moments of the video.

Practical example✨:

Imagine you are recording a video of an event and you want the beginning to be fast to grab attention, then a slower part for a dramatic transition, and finally speed up the end to give it an energetic touch. With this feature, you can adjust the speed so it fits your vision perfectly.
